Blue Ivy Carter has considerable fan following, even at so young an age. That is perhaps a natural consequence of being the first child of two of the biggest names in the global music industry - rapper Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles. She is therefore one of the most celebrated tots in the world and almost always makes news - whether it is for baby couture or anything else.

It isn't therefore a surprise if Jay-Z feels she might end up being a spoilt little brat.

The rapper, interviewed on a to-be-aired episode of Oprah's Master Class: Special edition, spoke of his childhood and thoughts on parenthood.

"I imagine I'll take things I learned from my mom and things I've learned from raising my nephews and apply that," the 42 year old said in the clip available on the Daily Mail, "Then at the end of the day, I just know I'll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever."

The music moguls are estimated to be worth nearly £300 million and little Blue Ivy is already experiencing the benefits. The parents reportedly spent £372,000 on a rocking horse, £2,170 on a cot and £12,400 for a shoe collection. In addition, she is believed to have a wardrobe packed with designer shoes and clothes. It isn't just her parents... fellow musician Kanye West supposedly bought her a mini BMW.

"Everyone imagines they'll be a great dad until their [children are] teenagers. [They say], 'Get away from me, Dad. You're embarrassing me'," Jay-Z added.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Us Weekly, Canadian singer Melanie Fiona indicated the baby takes after her father.

"Beyonce says Blue changes every day and looks just like Jay now," she was quoted as saying.
