Samsung has just resumed the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean upgrade service, which is expected to fix the major issues spotted in the previous release, for its third generation Galaxy S smartphone.

Earlier last month, Samsung released Android 4.3 for the global variant of Galaxy S3 bearing model number GT-I9300. With build version I9300XXUGMJ9, the Android 4.3 brings an array of changes and improvements and is a major improvement over the previous Android version 4.1.2.

Following the roll-out, users started complaining multiple problems with the update. Unfortunately, Samsung had to suspend Android 4.3 update for the Galaxy S3. The company then promised to resume the upgrading service at the earliest possibility.

The new Android 4.3 software with base firmware I9300XXUGMK6 adds several features such as enhanced UI, new Camera mode, Galaxy Gear support and other performance improvements. But like the previous I9300XXUGMJ9, the new Android I9300XXUGMK6 also does not have Samsung Knox security feature, as notes Sammobile.

As the new software is rolling out in phases, it might not be available in all countries at this moment. Those who are having carrier-branded devices will have to wait for a while, as the update has to get improved by the carrier first after which Samsung will release the update. The Android 4.3 stock firmware is expected to reach all parts across the globe soon.

The I9300XXUGMK6 Android 4.3 software is available for the Galaxy S3 users in the United Kingdom currently.
