Glamour and style magazine FHM recently revealed their list of the 100 sexiest women in the world and now The Sun has come up with a similar list, which was released on 4 May.

The Sun's list does share some names with FHM's poll but interestingly the ranks are poles apart. For example, while actress Mila Kunis was ranked ninth in FHM's poll, she topped the list in The Sun's survey. The 28 year old Ukraine-born Kunis scored 6.1 percent of the votes to win the race.

Similarly, while X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos won FHM's race, readers of The Sun were less appreciative of her sex appeal, giving her only 3.2 percent and seventh place.

Meanwhile, the other celebrities who made it to the top five in The Sun's poll include pop singer Cheryl Cole (5.7 percent of the vote), Playboy model Kelly Brook, Kim Kardashian and Greek-Irish model Georgia Salpa.

Georgia Salpa, who finished third, expressed her happiness over the results on her official Facebook page.

"Delighted with the results top 5," she wrote.

"Acclaimed beauties including Kate Middleton, Dannii Minogue, Abbey Clancy, Keira Knightley and Eva Longoria did not even make it into our top ten," The Sun noted.
