This is turning out to be a dream start to the 2012 Formula 1 World Championship, for Team McLaren.

The UK team recorded their second one-two, in qualifying, for the season, after their front-row lockout in Australia last week.

Lewis Hamilton held off his team mate Jenson Button, to claim pole position. Behind them, an in-form Michael Schumacher took third for Mercedes, with defending champions Red Bull's Mark Webber in fourth and the newly-returned Kimi Raikkonen in fifth.

World champion Sebastian Vettel qualified sixth, while Ferrari's disastrous start to the season continued, with Fernando Alonso the team's best runner in ninth.
