Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
Chris Pratt as Star-Lord aka Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Marvel Studios

Chris Pratt has a pretty good sense of humour and he knows how to use it on social media. The actor kicked off his international promotional tour ahead of the release of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2, and has turned to his Instagram account to hilariously document his experience.

Over the past couple of days, the 37-year-old has uploaded a series of photos and videos from his trip to England and the movie press tour in Tokyo. In the posts, he humorously throws a shout-out to his wife Anna Faris, co-star Dave Bautista and even some clotted cream scones.

Prior to the release of their films, celebrities generally up their social media game and Pratt seems to have found the right balance to keep fans interested. IBTimes UK lists five reasons to start following the actor, because, really... why would you need more?

#1 Pratt lovingly serenades his 'cheat meal'

The Star-Lord actor is expected to keep fighting fit for his roles and resorts to documenting his "cheat meals" with the hashtag #WhatsMySnack. He recently posted a video of a trip to England, in which he serenades the last remaining piece of a clotted cream scone.

"Set on the River Thames in post World Two England, Chris Pratt plays lonely CIA agent Drake McGuiness, a man with a dangerous secret and a crippling addiction to dessert," he wrote alongside the video of him singing to The Beatles' Oh! Darling.

"No animals were harmed in the making of this video. But 7 cranberry, currant, butter, jam, clotted cream scones got BF'd pretty hard," he added.

#2 The actor sees the best in his co-stars

Pratt posted a photo of his Guardians co-star Dave Bautista aka Drax checking his phone while in character make-up. "Here #Drax invites everyone on the Milano to join his LinkedIn network. @davebautista is a loyal friend and excellent actor. I love him more with each passing day. He sits through hours of makeup and never complains," he praised the former professional wrestler. "Not to mention the major advantage he gives us if we ever find ourselves in a movie cast vs movie cast celebrity death match."

#3 The Passengers star can really rock skinny jeans

The Jurassic World actor posed for a comic photo, which shows his head over a reflection of a woman dressed in a cream top and skinny jeans, who we are guessing is Faris. "My favourite outfit so far," he captioned the image.

#4 The Star Lord actor gets emotional about the important things

Pratt also posed for a group photo with fans dressed as characters from the Guardians Of The Galaxy movie. "Had a great time greeting fans from Tokyo. These magical lot were dressed up like he Guardians," he captioned the post. "Moments like this you realize how much a movie can mean to people around the world. I can't believe I get to be one of the stars bringing this movie to the screen."

He then talked about getting emotional during the tour. "I've been crying a lot on this tour. Because, you know... they just can't get my latte right," he cracked on. "And I try to tell them "Peruvian breast milk!" How hard is that? still nothing. Urrrrgh," he joked.

#5 Pratt's dad moments

Pratt and Faris have a four-year-old son, Jack, who they took to Tokyo for the tour. "Thank you for the support honey! You look so beautiful. These press tours can be such a whirlwind. I'm grateful to have you and the boy with me on this one," he wrote alongside a photo of the couple in Japan.

"Although it's 3:00am right now, I was just awakened by a square kick to the back as little man climbed into bed and then must have had a karate dream or something and now I can't sleep," he added. "I'm on insta instead. All you dads and moms know what I'm talking about."
