Bargain Wedding Dress
Calling all thrifty brides-to-be: The £59.99 wedding dress as arrived at H&M. H&M

Wedding season may not be here yet but H&M is already making it easier for couples on a budget to say 'I do'.

The high street favourite has launched a £59.99 wedding dress that will make thrifty brides-to-be scream with delight.

Available in sizes 6-14, the sleeveless white gown features a floral neck embellishment with a ruched detailing under the bust to accentuate the waist.

The understated, elegant design is reminiscent of 30s Hollywood glam and would look great with a pair of heels or sandals for a destination wedding.

Customers keen to get their hands on the bargain dress can purchase it from stores nationwide and the H&M website later this month.

Although it's the brands' first foray into bridal wear, it's not the first high street retailer to design affordable gowns for brides-to-be. Coast , L.K Bennet and Monsoon are just a few stores that already cater for brides.

In 2012, Richard Nicoll also designed an unconventional bridal collection for Topshop.

"I wanted to offer a younger, cooler alternative to meringue culture, something special, but not precious, like my friends, something they would wear if they were getting married," he said, at the time.
