The 51st Academy of Country Music Awards saw a celebration of the biggest and brightest names in country music. The ceremony, which took place on 3 April at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena, got off to a great start with a performance by co-host Luke Bryan, who sang his hit Huntin', Fishin' and Lovin' Every Day.

Before co-host Dierks Bentley could make a proper entrance, he was upstaged by Blake Shelton who stole the spotlight to perform Came Here To Forget.

Chris Stapleton turned out to be the man of the evening at the ACM awards. Not only was he at the centre of many of the hosts' jokes, but he also managed to win big in his first year of being nominated. The Whiskey And You singer took home four awards, for best male vocalist, new male vocalist, best album and song of the year.
