Ahead of the planned NATO forces departure in 2014 from Afghanistan. US Colonel Tavadash handed control of Bagram a controversial prison that houses thousands of Taliban fighters and terrorist suspects to Afghan authorities.

With Washington insisting that it will still maintain control over some detainees in the prison. And Although Afghan President Hamid Karzai has hailed the handover, disagreements with the US remain.
