Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City are interested in signing Bologna midfielder Amadou Diawara in the summer, his agent has claimed. The Guinean signed for the Serie A club last summer, but his performances have already caught the eye of clubs in Europe with Juventus also among the flurry of clubs showing interest in him.

His agent, Robert Visan, has revealed that he is under no hurry to complete a deal for Diawara, who until a few months back was playing near a church in Guinea. He stated that it was difficult for the midfielder at first, not recognised by the Federation in Italy, but as things turned for the better, he has developed a sense of responsibility towards the midfielder.

Visan revealed that Virtus Cesena was his first club in Italy where he trained his lungs out to get a first team berth before moving to Bologna, with whom the agent has a good relationship. Despite only a few months in Italy's top division, Visan said that it will be wrong to deny him the opportunity of a move to a better club and is therefore ready to look at offers from clubs across Europe's top five leagues.

"There is a strong interest of Chelsea," Visan told Tutto Mercato Web."I work with Pini Zahavi, who everyone knows, but that does not mean that will go to Chelsea. Also like Manchester City and Tottenham, Juventus follows: with them I never spoke of offers, only football. But now, I repeat, is indebted to Bologna. First there are the red and blue."

"[Reason for Diawara moving to Bologna]I have a good relationship with Corvino, had seen even before the director was called Emilia. So it was quite natural, although there was then Inter, until the last day of the last market we have tried," he added.
