Arturo Vidal

Chilean Agent Fernando Felicevich took advantage of his recent visit to England – in order to finalise Alexis Sanchez's move to Arsenal - to make big progress in Arturo Vidal's move to Manchester United, report in Chile claim.

Felicevich, who represents the Chilean international duo, travelled to London earlier this week in order to iron out the last details of Sanchez's deal with Arsenal – with the Gunners making it official on Thursday for a reported fee of £30m.

Chilean newspaper La Tercera claims that he also met with United officials to discuss his next big move, which will see the Juventus midfielder moving to Old Trafford.

Earlier this week Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport reported the Serie A giants were open to negotiating a deal should United meet their £36m demand.

La Tercera understands that United are going to to take advantage of Juventus' recent interest in securing Patrice Evra to seal a cut-price deal for the midfielder.

The report says the Premier League giants are close to agreeing terms with Juventus with a £32m bid which will also include the services of the French International.

Meanwhile, the Chilean report suggests Vidal's agent has already secured a verbal agreement with the player.

Following the arrivals of Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera at Old Trafford, Louis van Gaal has reportedly made Chile international Vidal his number one priority as he bids to rebuild a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season.

Vidal has also recently been linked with a move to Real Madrid but once Los Blancos reportedly secured the services of Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich they pave the way to United.

Meanwhile, recent reports in England claimed Evra has already asked to leave United although he recently signed a one-year contract extension.
