Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stunned all with her mind-blowing performance at the Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA) held in Vancouver, Canada.

This was the 39-year-old former Miss World's first overseas stage performance since the birth of her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan in 2011. She entertained the audience, dancing to the songs of Hindi films - title track of Dhoom 2 and Khwaja mere khwaja (Jodhaa Akbar).

On the red carpet she was joined by her husband, Bollywood actor, Abhishek Bachchan, and wore a traditional green anarkali dress featuring delicate gold and copper embroidery.

Abhishek took home the award for TOIFA Best Actor in a Comic Role and dedicated it to Aishwarya Rai.

"I would like to thank my family for firstly having me because things wouldn't have worked without that. I really owe this to Aishwarya and the love and support she has given me. She makes me the person that I am," he said after winning the trophy.

Aishwarya Rai had previously faced criticism, from within Bollywood, over her reluctance to shed post-pregnancy weight immediately after birth, but has since fought back, with the help of family and friends, to silence her critics. Adding on, she was recently seen performing at the 50th annual Ponds Femina Miss India pageant and danced, to a song from a 2010 Hindi film called Guzaarish.

The ceremony which was hosted by actors Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Boman Irani also saw performance by UK-born Indian actress Katrina Kaif.
