A restless Aleutian volcano has erupted again, according to the Anchorage Daily News.

Researchers at the Alaska Volcano Observatory detected another short eruption of Cleveland volcano - the second in two days.

Plumes of ash have been released but have not been heavy enough to be deemed a flying hazard, meteorologists said.

Satellites have not found high-level ash that could pose a threat to aircraft.

Over the past few months, researchers have detected a series of small earthquakes at the lliamma volcano in Alaska.
