British boxer Amir Khan has explained why he is wearing 'the world's most expensive boxing shorts' in his welterweight showdown with Devon Alexander in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The 28-year-old said that he was wearing the shorts to mark the first time he has topped the bill at the MGM Grand casino and hotel, and that after the fight he will be donating them to charity.

Saturday's clash will be Khan's first fight since defeating veteran American Luis Collazo in his welterweight debut in May.
