The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean official firmware update has started rolling out to Sony Xperia SP.
Earlier last month, XDA recognised developer DooMLoRD had shared the screenshots of Android 4.3 update running on both Xperia T and Xperia SP. Following this, the developer made available the leaked firmware for both the devices, indicating the official update is nearing.
Meanwhile, Sony has confirmed through Twitter that the company was 'making final preparation for Android 4.3 for Xperia T, TX, V and SP. The update will start rolling out sometime within January end to early February.
Now the Android 4.3 stock firmware with build number 12.1.A.0.266 is rolling out to Xperia SP bearing model number C5303. The update is currently available for Vodafone subscribers in Australia, according to XDA. It is also available in Malaysia and UK through PC Companion and via SUS.
As the update roll out is a phased process, it will not be available for all users at the moment. The timing and availability may vary depending on the market and carrier.
