Preview

Andy Murray returns to Scotland for the first time since backing the independence vote last year to kick-off Great Britain's Davis Cup campaign in 2015 against Donald Young of the United States.

Despite a poor run of form in Rotterdam and Dubai, Murray has enjoyed an impressive start to the year having reached the final at the Australian Open and represents a daunting proposition to the USA as the newly installed world number three.

Young, called up by captain Jim Courier in the absence of injured pair Sam Querrey and Steve Johnson, has enjoyed a fruitful start to the year, reaching the semi-final in Memphis and the final at Delray Beach.

However, the good news ends there for the 25-year-old, who must kick off the USA's attempts to reach the last eight by facing one of the best players in the world on his home turf.

Murray has prevailed in three of the duo's last four meetings, including in the Davis Cup tie last February in San Diego when the Scot led GB to victory with a straight sets win. Young will again do well to offer any resistance.
