Great Britain take on Belgium in the final of the Davis Cup tennis tournament, with Andy Murray taking on Ruben Bemelmans in the second rubber of the competition on Friday 28 November.

Where to watch

Murray vs Bemelmans will be broadcast live on BBC2, with live coverage also available through the BBC Sport website. Their match will immediately follow Kyle Edmund vs David Goffin, which is scheduled to get under way at 12:30pm GMT. IBTimes UK will have reports and round-ups on the final throughout the weekend.

Belgium team coach Johan Van Herck made the surprising decision to select Bemelmans, the country's third ranked player, to take on the world no. 2 Murray. Logically, it allows experienced number two Steve Darcis to feature in Saturday's doubles contest completely fresh and in a potentially decisive fifth rubber against Kyle Edmund on Sunday.

It's a bit of step up for Bemelmans, however. Last week he was playing a club match in France. Today he meets the second best in the world. Despite the odds being stacked against him, the world no. 108 is quietly confident he and Belgium have a plan to undo the Scot.

"This will be the first confrontation I've had with [Murray], match or practice, so it's going to be new for him as well," Bemelmans said. "I think I probably know him better, how he plays, than him me. Maybe that's a slight advantage there. But I will be well prepared and I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

"Andy is very solid. He's number two of the world, so it's going to be very tough. But I'm not going to discuss tactics here. I think we have a clear plan and it's up to me to execute this as well as possible."

Murray meanwhile is hoping to lead Great Britain to their first Davis Cup title in 79 years. He is expected to feature in three of the five matches over the next three days and wins in both singles matches on Friday and on Sunday against David Goffin will see him become just the third player to win all eight Davis Cup matches in a calendar year.
