Is the wait over? Are Hollywood's power and glam couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, finally going to get married?

The couple, who have been in what appears to be a firm and unwavering relationship, have apparently succumbed to the insistence of their children (who would have thought that?!) and could well be finally ready to tie the knot.

The star couple is said to be preparing to walk down the aisle in a small ceremony at their 16th-century French chateau.

"Brad and Angie have kept this quiet, and they're talking about how and when to announce it," an insider told OK! Magazine, adding, "They really get a kick out of teasing people with this whole thing."

Brangelina had previously insisted they would resist matrimony until same-sex marriage became legal throughout the U.S. However, Pitt did also finally admit that fully committing to Jolie was becoming more important to him.

"We'd actually like to [get married]," he revealed. "We made this declaration some time ago that we weren't going to do it till everyone can. But I don't think we'll be able to hold out. It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot," said Brad.

"It means something to me, too," Brad added, "to be in love with someone and be raising a family with someone and want to make that commitment and not be able to is ludicrous, just ludicrous," OK! magazine reported.

Are wedding bells truly about to ring?

If they do, this will be Pitt's second wedding and Jolie's third.
