Hollywood's hottest couple - Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt - want their summer wedding to special. In fact, the 37 year old Jolie reportedly picked up the wedding date with help of a Buddhist monk. According to Cosmopolitan, a source close to the Salt star revealed she is an avid believer of the religion and has accepted advice in the past too.

"Angie has used Buddhist astrology in the past to help her pick the best or most auspicious days for important moments in her life," it said, "She's relied on the Buddhist calendar to plan medical procedures and vacations for herself, Brad and the kids. She's even used it for picking the dates of her movie openings."

"That's when Angie was completely converted to Buddhist astrology and she's not taking that chance with Brad. Angie is convinced the date of their union will guarantee their future happiness," the source continued.

In any case, the couple do not appear to be in a hurry and are looking to make this as special a day as possible. The engagement ring was designed by famous Beverly Hills jeweler Robert Procop, along with Pitt himself. Jolie was spotted with the ring on her wedding finger in April when she visited the Chinese Art collection at the Los Angeles County Museum with partner Pitt and their son Pax.

"Brad just goes with the flow. He told Angie to take as much time as she needs. After eight years and six kids together, they clearly aren't rushing into marriage," a source told the National Enquirer.

The couple, who have been together since 2005, have reportedly chosen their £35mn 16th century French château as the venue for their wedding.

Jolie was previously married to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton, while the Moneyball star was earlier married to actress Jennifer Aniston. The couple reportedly became close on the sets of the film Mr & Mrs Smith, while Pitt was still married to Aniston.
