Angelina Jolie knows very well how to make a fashion statement at any red carpet event.

The 36-year-old "Girl, Interrupted" actress wears the right shade, sleek cuts, matching accessories and the right make-up for that million-dollar look.

In her latest public appearance at the 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills on January 20, the actress came wearing a Michael Kors' black dress with a long slit and lace sleeves. She looked stunning and cameras could not stop clicking her.

Here, we look at some of her recent red carpet appearances where the actress was at her best.

In the recently held Golden Globe Awards 2012, the "Lara Croft -Tomb Raider" actress, whose directorial debut film won a nomination, looked ravishing in her Atelier Versace white satin gown with a red fold around her chest. Jolie's debut film as director, "In the Land of Blood and Honey", was nominated for the best Foreign Language Film category.

When "In the Land of Blood and Honey" was premiered in Washington early this month, Jolie came wearing a grey overcoat, again designed by Michael Kors. She wore big pearl studs and Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels. She looked different but certainly not unnoticeable. May be she wanted to look different from her actress avatar, more like a producer!

At this year's New York Film Critics Circle Awards too, Jolie looked sexy in a black knee-length leather skirt teamed with a white silk shirt. Her emerald pendant and studs just complimented her dress.

At the 23rd Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala on January 7, Jolie looked elegant in her faded pink-pleated Elle Saab gown. The actress wore the right make-up, diamond earrings and a bracelet and settled for Jimmy Choo's nude pump.
