The annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) took place on 11 June, as Apple unveiled their latest development which they hope will excite consumers and maintain their position as the largest technology company in the world.
CEO Tim Cook unveiled hardware such as the new Macbook Pro, their highest-end laptop, employing the 'retina' display that makes it impossible for the human eye to differentiate pixels on screen.
Other announcements include an update of its mobile phone operation software to iOS6, with improved Siri, Facebook integration, and the company's own version of Google Maps.
