Apple Inc. has emerged as the favorite hi-tech company among the youth in the United States, according to a national survey. It beat rivals Facebook and Google in the survey.

The telephonic survey was conducted among the adult population of the country, targeting different age groups, race, ethnic groups, gender and political affiliations.

While 43 percent of the respondents voted for Apple, the other choices, Google and Facebook, scored 26 per cent and 10 per cent respectively. The survey was carried out among a total of 1066 registered users of the opinion poll conducted by Poll Position on Oct. 30, 2011.

Apple Inc. has become the clear winner by enjoying a 55.2 percent vote share among youth aged between 18 and 29 years. Google got 16.8 percent and Facebook scored 15.2 percent.

The trade mark products of Apple Inc. like iPhone, App Store, iPad and Macs enjoy a major share in the technology market. Its iTunes has revolutionized the digital music and has a huge fan following among the youth across the globe. The company claimed record sales in Mac and iPads in the fourth quarter with a major share of international sales.
