After the names of eight of the dance pros who will appear in season 23 of Dancing With the Stars were revealed on Good Morning America (GMA) the suspense around the cast of dance reality show is making fans restless.

The final list of celebrity contestants will be unveiled on August 30, 2016 on GMA.

The names of the dance pros announced include Val Chmerkovskiy, Sharna Burgess, Artem Chigvintsev, Lindsay Arnold, Allison Holker, Sasha Farber and Gleb Savchenko.

Val Chmerkovskiy, who is a long-time pro dancer, has claimed that this year the popular American dance reality show will be amazing due to the 'incredible' cast member. He will appear on GMA to reveal the names of the rest of dance pros.

"It's going to be amazing. We're going to have an incredible cast, as always. But I'm also excited for the pros. We have a lot of different pros coming back. Some pros from back, back in the day, so I'm excited," Chmerkovskiy said.

Chmerkovskiy, who won season 20 with celebrity partner Rumer Willis, has announced the return of Witney Carson, Sharna Burgess, Artem Chigvintsev, Lindsay Arnold and Sasha Farber as the pros. Rumours are abuzz that his brother Maksim Chmerkovskiy might return for season 23. Val didn't reveal the names of this year's participants.

Rumour mills are abuzz that this season will bring an ensemble of reality stars, Olympians, anchors and former Disney stars.

Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher, who won millions of hearts during the dating reality show, is on the top in the rumoured cast probable list. The former Bachelor runners-up gave her final roles to former football player Jordan Rodgers. Her addition may draw a major section of her fans towards the show.

After winning gold at the Rio Olympics 2016, Simone Biles may hit the dance floor to win the Mirrorball Trophy. Her fellow teammate Aly Raisman has participated in the show in 2013 after winning the gold medal at the London Olympics 2012. Hence it is speculated that Biles will continue the tradition by joining DWTS. She has previously said that she "would really love to do it in the spring if that's possible."

US swimmer and 12-time Olympic medallist Ryan Lochte is making headlines for exaggerating gunpoint robbery claims during the RioOlympic. Though he was dropped by multiple sponsors, the he could regain his popularity and boost the viewership rating for popular show. USA Today claims that a source has confirmed its sports team about a DWTS deal between the swimmer and ABC.

E News, have quoted one of its reliable sources and claimed that talk show host and model, Amber Rose also is set to display her grooves in the show which is scheduled to premiere in September. Former Disney Channel star, Jake T. Austin is also rumoured as a possible contestant.

Dancing With the Stars season 23 premieres Monday, 12 September at 8 pm ET on ABC. The remaining Dancing pros and the 13 celebrity contestants will be announced Tuesday 30 August on GMA.
