Are Tom Holland and Zendaya dating? Here's what they have said

Tom Holland and Zendaya's fans were left in shock after multiple reports, including on in People magazine, claimed that the two stars are a couple in real life. The claims were made right after the release of their movie Spider-Man: Homecoming.

"They started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man," a source told People. "They've been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye but they've gone on vacations with each other and try to spend as much time as possible with one another."

They are "both really ambitious and they challenge each other — but, most importantly, they make each other crack up." a source told the publication. "They seem to have a really similar sense of humor and love joking around together. They have great banter back and forth."

Now, Zendaya and Holland have revealed if they are indeed a couple.

Zendaya took to social media to poke fun at reports that claimed she and Holland have gone on vacations together while keeping their romance a secret.

"Wait wait...my favorite is when it says we go on vacations together HA! I haven't been on a vacation in years!hbu @TomHolland1996," she wrote on Twitter on 13 July.

Holland jokingly responded, "@Zendaya Does the press tour count ." She replied, ""I'm done.✋."

While Zendaya and Holland have not denied the dating rumours, the Twitter exchange between the two suggests that they are nothing more than friends as Holland had previously stated in an interview.

"We are like the best of friends. She's so great and amazing," Tom had said. "I'm a little worried [about dealing with fame ... but] Zendaya is super famous and she's been through this and I just call her up and say, 'How do I manage being famous?' I'm glad I have a friend like her."
