New details of the much awaited crossover episode of Arrow and The Flash have emerged.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim teased that the crossover event will be as amazing as the 'Avengers.'

"It's so freaking awesome. No, it really is. I have to say, I've never had so much fun writing a script before in my life," Guggenheim told Zap2it

"I kept telling everyone, we should try for 'Avengers' -- these two heroes together, big production value. We're blowing out the doors on this."

The producer praised both Stephan Amell and Grant Gustin's efforts and said, "Watching Grant (who plays the Flash) and Stephen (who plays Arrow) together, it's magic."

What's exciting is "the opportunity for inside jokes and seeing all the characters together," Guggenheim said.

"What happens when Cisco get his eyes on Thea? Stuff like that. Moments you just can't do in a normal episode. It's just so much fun. It's going to be a blast."

Stephen Amell, who plays Arrow, also teased more details about the crossover event in New York Comic Con 2014, reported Comicbookresources.

"We just finished shooting a massive two episode crossover with 'The Flash,'" he said to huge applause.

"It was just a really, really interesting experience," Amell said of the season.

"We've done an interesting job. We build up our year in nine episodes. Boy, we take cliffhangers and we get literal and we take them to another level."

The two crossover episodes will take place over each show's episode 8. The big event will kick off on a Tuesday with The Flash's episode titled Flash vs Arrow, and conclude the following day with Arrow's episode titled The Brave And The Bold.
