Constantine
Constantine will be seen in Arrow season 4 NBC

Arrow season 4 is all set to attract a larger fan base thanks to Matt Ryan's John Constantine appearing on one of the upcoming episodes. The Constantine TV series on NBC was cancelled earlier this year causing great disappointment to viewers who loved the character and the show. Fans of the show spent months campaigning for someone to #SaveConstantine. The well-wishers of the doomed series included Arrow star Stephen Amell who went on to tweet that if Constantine gets renewed for another season, he will guest star on the show.

Well, the show remains cancelled for now, but Constantine fans will see him pretty soon on Arrow's "magic and mysticism" themed season 4 where the character will help bring Sara Lance back from the dead. "When you see him in the show, honestly it feels like we're doing a Constantine/Arrow crossover, and it's so exciting," Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim told Superhero Hype in a recent interview.

"We're just really glad we got the chance to extend Matt Ryan's run as Constantine by at least one more hour of television. I think you'll see he fits very neatly into our universe. It never feels forced, it feels right."

Guggenheim went on to add that the on-screen vibe between Ryan and Amell is very natural and it felt like the two had been working together for a long time. "I think people are really going to love the episode. John Badham directed it and it was just a happy circumstance, but John had also directed an episode of Constantine. It all works and it works really effortlessly. It worked effortlessly with a lot of effort I should say. I can't wait for people to see that episode, if you thought it was a thrill just to see that one shot of Matt in the trailer wait till you see a whole episode with him." Season 4 of Arrow is set to premiere on 7 October at 8pm ET/PT on The CW.
