English Premier League 2011/12 Statistics: Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur Preview

The clash of the titans... Arsenal and Tottenham are the probably fiercest known rivals in the Premier League. After years of Arsenal's dominance, this time the Spurs find themselves in a better position.

After being defeated by AC Milan (4-0) and Sunderland (2-0) in the Champions League and FA Cup respectively, it is Arsenal who find themselves under pressure for this keenly awaited clash. Arsenal, who are currently in fourth position (ten points below Spurs), have the risk of not making it to the top four of the Premier league, if they lose this.

Tottenham, under the stewardship of Harry Redknapp, have done pretty well this season, winning 16 out of their 25 games so far. The Spurs find themselves third, just 5 points below Manchester United. Coming off a comfortable 5-0 win against Newcastle, Spurs will be a difficult team to compete against.
