Arsenal will face Leicester City in the midweek Premier League clash at the Emirates on Tuesday.

Where to Watch

Kick-off is at 7:45pm GMT. There is no live coverage in the UK.

Overview

Arsenal suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of their local rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby at White Hart Lane. Germany World Cup winner Mesut Ozil opened the scoring for the Gunners in the first half.

However, Tottenham bounced back as Harry Kane's double helped Mauricio Pochettino seal a crucial victory over Arsenal on Saturday. The Gunners received a massive boost after Arsene Wenger confirmed their star player Alexis Sanchez will return on Tuesday after missing the north London derby.

Meanwhile, the Foxes are not enjoying a great run in the league this season. They have suffered three defeats in the last five matches. Nigel Pearson's job was under threat as rumours suggested the 51-year-old will be released by the club.

Leicester rejected those claims and have confirmed that they will not be showing the exit door to Pearson. The visitors need to hit the ground running in order to avoid relegation. Arsenal are sixth with 42 points from 24 games, while the Foxes are at the bottom of the table with 17 points.

What Managers Say

Arsene Wenger: "If you respond well, it's very good. We play at home against Leicester - a team who are fighting not to go down - so always we have to recover from that disappointment and be ready to respond very quickly."

Nigel Pearson: "For myself as the manager of the side who are bottom of the Premier League, what I can't do is hide from the facts. The facts are that we are where we are and, so far, we have not been beaten in a game where we've been absolutely roller coastered."
