Arsenal duo Hector Bellerin and Francis Coquelin, Tottenham starlet Harry Kane, and Everton's John Stones have been picked by Spanish newspaper Marca in their 11 European "revelations" of the 2014-2015 season (i.e. the breakout players).

Having spent part of last season on loan at Watford, Bellerin started the campaign as the third choice right-back for Arsene Wenger due to the summer additions of both Mathieu Debuchy from Newcastle and Southampton's Calum Chambers.

But following the departures of Bacary Sagna and Carl Jenkinson in the summer, and the recurrent injuries of Debuchy, the former Barcelona academy has managed to establish himself in Wenger's line-up to earn 28 appearances in his début campaign at the Emirates Stadium.

Coquelin meanwhile, has also become one of the biggest surprises in the Premier League since his return on loan from Charlton Athletic in December 2014.

The 24-year-old France midfielder was expected to be a mere understudy but eventually turned into a crucial player for Wenger, starting 19 Premier League games in the second part of the campaign and as well the FA Cup final.

Kane's meteoric rise at White Hart Lane has not been much different. The 21-year-old England international was expected to be the back-up for Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado, but took his opportunity to be named the best young player of the Premier League, scoring 31 goals in all competitions.

Stones, 21, has garnered a reputation as one of the most prolific centre-backs around Europe during his last two seasons at Everton.

So even though the England international defender had a difficult start to the campaign due to an injury, prestigious Spanish newspaper Marca has rewarded him with a place alongside Bellerin, Coquelin and Kane in naming them as among 11 of European football's biggest revelations of the 2014-2015 season.

German goalkeeper Timo Horn, from Koln, is between the sticks with Chelsea target left-back Abdul Rahman Baba and Empoli's Daniele Rugani completing the back-line.

Empoli midfielder Mirko Valdifiori forms with Coquelin in the middle of the park, while Lazio's Felipe Anderson, Lyon forward Nabil Fekir line-up with Palermo sensation Paulo Dybala and Kane in the attack.
