AngloGold to resume operations at S.Africa mine

AngloGold Ashanti will resume operations at its Great Noligwa mine in South Africa late on Thursday, which were halted after a fatality, a company spokesman said.

"The all clear has been given for resumption of operations this evening", spokesman Alan Fine said.

The company said on Monday that a worker died after he was struck by a mechanical equipment during a cleaning operation.
