Iranian protestors against President Ahmadinejad have set up a Facebook site in memory Neda Agha-Soltani, a young woman who was shot and killed in Saturday's protests.
Neda, whose name means "voice" in Persian, has become a symbolic martyr figure after her death was caught on camera by fellow protestors.
The strong online presence of anti-Ahmadinejad protestors means that in just a matter of days Neda and the video of her already has a Wikipedia page in her name and is a very hot topic on Twitter.
The video, which also shows distressing footage not only of her death but of a man believed to be her father trying to comfort her as she dies, has been described as "becoming a rallying symbol for opponents of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad," according to an LA Times blog.
On the new Facebook page dedicated to her memory, Nada is referred to as the "Angel of Iran", whilst her Wikipedia page refers to her also as the "voice of Iran". The Facebook page already has over 2,100 members.
