Following the unexpected death of pop star Michael Jackson on Thursday, conflicting stories have emerged regarding his health.
Those working with him said that the singer, who was only 50 when he died, seemed to be in "great shape", however leaked results of an autopsy on the body of Michael Jackson suggested a man suffering from severe physical problems.
Robert Baker, a dance studio boss with whom Jackson was rehearsing his London "This Is It" tour, said that while rehearsing Michael Jackson seemed to be in peak physical condition.
He said, "Michael was in great shape, he definitely wasn't your average 50-year-old. Doctors who checked him out for the insurance firms were amazed. One of them even joked that he had the condition of a 20-year-old," reports the Mirror.
"Four dancers from my studio were selected for his tour and were in rehearsals with Michael every day. These kids are in their 20s, but they said Michael was unbelievable and could keep up with them easily."
Baker added, "If Michael had struggled in rehearsals or was pushing himself too hard we didn't know about it. Every indication from the bottom to the top was that he was ready for this tour. He had the stamina of a young man and that's why his death came as a complete shock."
"This is a man who knew his limits, he had been putting on shows for decades and understood his body. AEG had people watching Michael at rehearsals to protect their investment - they surely would have noticed if he was struggling?"
