Ex-wife to challenge for custody of Michael Jackson's children

03 July 2009 @ 12:03 pm BST

Debbie Rowe is to attempt to gain custody of her two children by Michael Jackson, it has been reported.

Speaking to NBC 4 Rowe said "I want my children". It has also been reported that she wants to get a restraining order on Michael Jackson's father Joe Jackson, to keep him away from the children.

Rowe gave birth to Michael Jackson's first two children Prince Michael I and Paris.

However recent reports have suggested that neither Michael Jackson nor Debbie Rowe are actually the biological parents of the two children. Rowe however has said she will undergo a DNA test to prove she is the mother of the children.

Michael Jackson also had a third child, Prince Michael II, born to an unknown surrogate mother.

In his will Michael Jackson said he wished his children to be cared for by his mother Katherine.
