Berkeley to start Salamanca drilling

26 October 2009 @ 09:59 am BST

Berkeley Resources says three diamond drilling rigs have now mobilised for the initial drilling programme at the Salamanca Uranium Project.

The objectives of the drilling program are to verify and supplement the exploration targets at Mina D, Sageras/Zona M and Alameda within the ENUSA State Reserve licences; to enable JORC compliant resource estimates; and to provide representative geotechnical and metallurgical samples.

Approximately 60 diamond drill holes, totalling about 5,000m are planned.
