The LG POP GD510 is a PAYG (pay-as-you-go) touchscreen-based phone that boasts of a 3-inch WQVGA display with 240x400 pixel resolution, 3-megapixel camera, 8GB onboard storage, Bluetooth 2.1, FM radio, music/video player, web browser, MicroSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a battery with enough juice to power the phone up to 360 hrs (standby time) and 3.6 hrs (talk time).

Interested buyers can also pick up an optional solar panel that can be fitted on the back of the phone in place of the battery cover and gives you 2.15 min of talk time for every 10 min of sunlight it receives).

And, in case you're wondering, the GD510, which measures just 97.8 x 49.5 x 11.2 mm and weighs only 87gm, does not, however, come with 3G, WiFi, accelerometer and camera flash.

The quad-band GSM/EDGE-based phone is available at O2, Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone and Carphone Warehouse and if you feel like a cheapskate this holiday season, you know what to shop for.
