Rotork buys Flow-Quip Controls for $8m

Engineering group Rotork has acquired Flow-Quip Controls, a private company based in Oklahoma, for $8m cash, with $1m deferred for 12 months.

Rotork says Flow-Quip will fit within its Fluid Systems division and add about $14m of annual revenue.

Chief executive Peter France said, 'Flow-Quip brings with it additional products to add to our portfolio together with well established customer relationships in the US and South America, markets we have identified as having potential for further growth.'
