ZOO wins £0.35m film restoration grant

Film industry software provider ZOO Digital has won a £0.35m grant from the Technology Strategy Board to fund its Commercialisation of Motion Picture Archive (COMPA) project.

The project, which includes the British Film Institute as a partner, aims to create software systems for restoration of film and video material on to high-definition platforms such as Blu-ray.
