CBaySystems Q3 sales up 45%

CBaySystems Holdings posts third quarter net income of $4.2m compared with a loss of $1.06m last time.

Sales for the three months to the end of September rose 45% to $93.29m and adjusted operating EBITDA increased by $10.77m to $14.66m.

The firm - a leading provider of technology-enabled medical transcription and related healthcare revenue cycle solutions - said the figures included the consolidation of financial results of MedQuist since the date of acquisition on 6 August 2008.

Sales for the first nine months of the year increased by $182.37m to $281.83m and net income rose to $14.42m from $0.43m last time.

The firm had cash and cash equivalents of $23.2m.
