Croston, 46, has been finance and operations director of the Vimto Soft Drinks division for the past two years and before this was the group's financial controller.

Chairman John Nichols said Croston has been a key member of the management team in the successful Soft Drinks division, which grew its operating profits by nearly 16% last year.
