Interior Services Group has appealed to the Competition Appeal Tribunal in respect of the quantum of a fine imposed by the Office of Fair Trading on two of its subsidiaries.
On 22 September 2009 the Office of Fair Trading decided, following an investigation into cover pricing, to impose a fine on Pearce Construction ( Midlands) and its immediate parent ISG Pearce , for a technical breach of competition law in 2001.
ISG acquired these companies in November 2007, but in 2001 these companies were under the ownership of Crest Nicholson.
