Nokia N900 smartphone
N900 boasts of pretty amazing specs and it looks like Nokia has finally come out with a device that can eat competition for breakfast.

In conclusion, N900 can surely take competition head-on. It's better than most high-end smartphones strutting in the market and is good enough for a podium finish in the smartphone race.

Surely this 'article' has to be the dumbest of them all. 'Maemo 5 doesnt look different enough' what did you expect, something from space? Which other os offer the same multitasking window option? which os offer the same ui in general? the only similiarity with the motoblur is the multiple homescreen. What do you mean by poor form factor? isnt the landscape slide form factor the same that is used in the droid? The device might look chunky a bit but the design is not poor, look at the droid if you want to know an ugly device. You spoke about appstore, this is where i believe you lost all your senses. The device is NEW not even fully released yet and you are talking about the size of the appstore? How much apps did android and the iphone have at launch? None. This device have already got over 400 well put together and sensible apps; from popup blockers for the browser to twitter clients. atleast 20 of these good apps being added in a week, no fart apps, no apps for kissing your phone, no apps that simply show slideshows of girls on motocycles.. none of those just quality apps done professionally. 400 apps at launch IS a good number. 'Multiple desktops might make user experience confusing'. did you say the same about the motoblur that you compared its 4 desktops to? if its going to be confusion just simply disable the feature which is just a couple of taps away. If you say the ui is better than android then why try to bring it down by saying it looks dated to the iphone? alot of ppl say the ui of android is great and if its better surely it deserves something. This 'mockup of an article' is just that, nothing more nothing less... its sad to see how low and unprofessional blogging has come when it comes to information. For christ's sake atleast come with info on the status of the device before you go all up in arms about apps.

Resisitive is more precise than capacitive, n900 does support portrait mode it just needs to be unlocked, maemo community is huge so once the phone gets into the hands of developers apps will begin flowing out. thank you very much
