Naya Bharat Property Company plans to expand its mandate to allow investment in a broader range of property-related companies, such as those operating in areas including building materials, construction, infrastructure and property credit.
The company says there were some exceptional gains among listed Indian property stocks in the six months to September. Prospects for the Indian real estate market continue to improve as a result of interest rate cuts.
Naya Bharat's NAV rose 162.5% to 0.61c per share over the period. The BSE Realty Index was up 206.1% in US dollar terms.
