The production team shot footage across the UK and Italy using Sony XDCAM-EX and HDCAM. Tapeless rushes were uploaded into FORscene using FORscene Load-Linux at post-production facility Crow TV.

Tape-based rushes were simultaneously digitised into local storage and into FORscene for logging and shot-selection.

'Football's Next Star' is produced by Initial, an Endemol company, for Sky One and will be broadcast in January.
