London - Mobile broadband users in the UK are concerned over the quality of internet speeds, a recent poll published by ISPreview.co.uk has suggested.

The latest survey from ISPreview.co.uk has revealed that more than half of 412 respondents are interested in mobile broadband service but a quarter of them are seriously concerned about the quality of internet speed and want it to be improved.
According to the poll, most respondents are concerned that the mobile broadband speed they are getting is less than what is advertised and far slower than ADSL packages. Furthermore, even if some mobile broadband service providers advertise speeds of up to either 3.6 or 7.2Mbps and do provide that speed, restrictive bandwidth limits mean things like video streaming and music downloading are strictly no-no.
However, mobile broadband service providers complain that there's not much profit margin in providing this service and hence, they can't help it but put a data allowance limit on their service plans.
According to the poll, faster speed (25.4 percent), bigger usage allowance (23 percent) and service reliability (22 percent) were the top three improvements sought most by mobile broadband users, while eighteen percent of respondents to the survey said that they would like to see the cost of using mobile broadband services reduced and made more affordable.
