WSI increases investment in portfolio firms

08 February 2010 @ 04:08 pm BST

Worship Street Investments has made additional investments into two existing portfolio companies.

This is part of its strategy to build meaningful positions in carefully selected PLUS market companies.

WSI has acquired 237,000 shares in Conduco plc at 8.5p apiece, representing 1.89% of the total issued share capital.

Conduco is a software development company based in Manchester.

WSI now holds 1,000,000 shares in Conduco - 8% of the issued share capital.

WSI has also acquired 82,500 shares in English Wines Group at a price of 14.5p per share, representing 0.19% of the total issued share capital.

Worship Street also holds 100,000 worth of convertible Loan Notes, paying an 8% coupon, in English Wines Group as part of the placing announced by English Wines in June 2009.

Assuming conversion of all the loan notes Worship Street Investments would hold 1,082,500 ordinary shares in the English Wines Group.
