Beowulf Mining has signed a drilling contract for its Kallak iron ore project with Ludvika Borrteknik, one of Sweden's leading drilling companies.
The planned 3,500 metre drilling programme will begin in April and will expand the known data on the project.
The aim is to define the quantity and quality of iron ore already known to be present in the licence area and to allow a JORC classification to then be sought.
Beowulf has also signed a letter of intent with Ludvika over a further planned diamond drilling campaign at its other flagship iron ore project, Ruoutevare, to commence in the fourth quarter.
