Former Vyke Communications chief executive Kim Berknov has resigned from the board to pursue his other business interests.

Berknov was CEO of the VoIP services group from April 2009 to December 22 before being appointed chief operating officer. He is managing director of private equity service firm Evergreen Capital Partners.

Tommy Jensen, CEO of Vyke, said, 'Kim has rejuvenated and refocused our business during his office and we are looking forward to continue to work with him and his team at Evergreen Capital Partners.'

Vyke has also appointed Jonathan Turner as group international sales director, a non-board position. Turner will take over responsibility for sales from Berknov.
