Motive will co-produce 62 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League matches with Asgard Media, a television production company based in Ireland.

Chairman Mick Pilsworth says: "Winning this contract supports our decision, earlier this year, to retain Motive. Motive is a successful production company in Ireland with a good reputation amongst the Irish Broadcasters.

"Whilst we remain confident in our decision to retain Motive, our main focus still remains the Digital Terrestrial Television arena, which we believe has huge growth potential in the lead up to the worldwide analogue switch-off in 2015.

"Motive is well positioned to take advantage of this growth potential, having already acquired the global distribution rights, outside Italy and Spain, to BesTV, and we are continuing to seek complementary acquisition opportunities."
