From your living space and trash to your diet and fitness routine, Project Green Challenge (PGC) has all your eco options covered. With just 15 days left until the October 1 launch of one the most ambitious green campus initiatives ever, Teens Turning Green, the generation Z geniuses behind PGC, hope to enlist at least 100,000 students (and adults) nationwide to take the 30-day green lifestyle Challenge.
"The Challenge aims to raise awareness about conscious living, informed consumption, and the collective impact of individual actions, as well as empower students with actionable steps for their own lives," declared Erin Schrode, 20, Project Green Challenge program director and co-founder of TTG. "In one short month, you'll not only change your life, but help sustain the planet too."
Throughout the month of October, students will be given 30 simple steps to experience just how fun, accessible, and effective the transition to green can be!
Each day people who register on www.projectgreenchallenge.com will take on one challenge focused on a specific "green, greener or greenest" action. Eco tips, websites, articles and videos to inform and inspire the contestants to complete the actions will accompany each challenge. And amazing green prizes will be offered for diving deep into green, innovation and creativity. Each topic is aimed at building a powerful, diverse and far reaching movement that inspires youth to transition from conventional to conscious and take small steps that will help sustain a healthy and just world.

As a culmination to the Challenge, ten finalists will be selected to participate in Green University - a 2-day eco-summit in San Francisco this December 3 + 4. Although only high school and college students are eligible for prizes, the Challenge is open to ANYONE who wants to make a positive change or just learn a little bit more about greening her life.
