Glencore terminates deal to take 70% stake in Marcobre

Glencore International has terminated its agreement to acquire a 70% interest in Marcobre from CST Mining Group.

Marcobre is the sole owner of the Marcona copper property and the Mina Justa project.

The transaction was subject to a number of conditions.

Glencore announced on 3 October that it and CST Mining Group Limited ad agreed to extend the period for achieving the full satisfaction of the conditions to 30 November.

As not all of the conditions were satisfied by the New Long Stop Date, Glencore terminated the agreement with CST Mining Group.

At 8:23am: (LON:GLEN) share price was -4.17p at 375.93p
