A Labour MP has been suspended from the party after being arrested for allegedly sparking a House of Commons bar brawl.
Eric Joyce, MP for Falkirk, was taken from The Strangers Bar in Westminster on Wednesday night following a scuffle in which a Conservative MP is thought to have been headbutted.

The fracas is thought to have involved at least three Tories and one othe Labour MP and followed a particularly aggressive Prime Minsters Questions concerning NHS reforms.

Joyce, tweeted on February 20: "Who is the hardest boxing correspondent in the country? There's only one way to find out."
Politicshome quoted sources as saying Joyce complained that the bar was "full of Tories", before the fight kicked off.
Stewart Andrew, MP for Pudsey, is rumoured to have been the victim of the assault and tweeted "thank you I am ok", on Thursday.
Scotland Yard confirmed that a man in his fifties was arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in custody. Labour later announced that Joyce had been suspended until the investigation is completed.
